Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and SHAB INVESTMENT, a business registered in the Republic of Maldives, trading as Easy Duty Rota.

By creating an account or using easydutyrota.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What the service is

Easy Duty Rota is a web-based tool for building and managing staff duty rosters. It lets you record staff, assign shifts and leave, mark non-official days, track duty counts, and export rotas as documents.

It is a scheduling tool. It is not a payroll system, an HR system, or a system of record for employment. You should not rely on it as your only record of anything that matters legally, such as hours worked or payments owed.

3. Your account

You need an account to use the service. When you create one:

• Give us a real email address you can access — we send a code to confirm it
• Keep your password private
• You are responsible for what happens under your account

Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account.

You must be 18 or over to use Easy Duty Rota.

4. Your content

You own what you enter. Staff names, rotas, duty codes, notes, logos — all of it stays yours. We do not claim ownership of it.

You give us permission to store and display it. We need this to run the service — to save your rota, show it back to you, and generate your exports. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for it. In particular, you confirm that you are entitled to record your staff's details for scheduling purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more on this.

Please keep it appropriate. Do not use Easy Duty Rota to store or share anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.

5. Plans and payment

Free trial. Every new account starts with a one-month free trial with full access. When the trial ends, your account moves to view-only unless you choose a paid plan.

Paid plans. Paid plans are paid in advance, for one month or one year at a time. The features included in each plan are shown on the plan page and may change as the service develops.

Currency. Payments are charged in Maldivian rufiyaa (MVR). Prices are also shown in US dollars as a guide for international customers. The MVR amount shown at checkout is the amount charged. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fees.

How payments are made. Card payments are processed securely by Bank of Maldives. You can also pay by bank transfer by arranging it with us.

No automatic renewal. Your plan does not renew by itself, and we never charge your card without your action. Before your paid period ends, we remind you, and you can renew by paying again. If you do not renew, your account moves to view-only.

Price changes. If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies. The new price applies the next time you pay.

Delivery. Easy Duty Rota is an online service. Nothing is shipped, and no customs duties apply. Your plan is activated as soon as your payment is confirmed.

Keep your records. We recommend that you keep a copy of your payment receipt, these terms, and our policies.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You do not need to cancel. Plans do not renew automatically, so you can stop at any time simply by not renewing. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. The same applies to monthly and annual plans.

We do not offer refunds. Payments already made are not refunded, including for any unused part of a period. Please use your free trial to decide whether the service suits you before paying. Our Refund & Cancellation page explains the exceptions.

If we cancel your service, other than for a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused portion of what you have paid.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings. When you do:

• Your access ends immediately
• Your account and rota content are removed within 30 days
• No refund is given for any remaining paid period

Export anything you want to keep before you delete. We cannot recover a deleted account.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Easy Duty Rota running and available, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.

The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of problems with our hosting or database providers, or for reasons outside our control. We do not offer a guaranteed uptime level.

9. Beta status

Easy Duty Rota launched recently and is under active development. Features are added, changed and occasionally removed. Bugs happen.

We tell you this openly because you are scheduling real people's working lives with this tool. Keep your own exports of any rota you cannot afford to lose. The service provides exports for exactly this reason.

10. What we are not responsible for

To the extent the law allows:

The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses — for example, lost business, lost profits, or costs arising because a shift was not covered.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of what you or your colleagues enter. If a rota is wrong, or someone was scheduled who should not have been, that is a matter for you and your organisation.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. If you have only used the free trial, that amount is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspending or ending accounts

We may suspend or close an account that:

• Breaches these terms
• Is used unlawfully, or to harm others
• Attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service

Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of the Maldives.
